COMPETITIVE SABRE FENCING CAMP

Who Should Attend:
Sabre fencers who are looking for a more competitive practice with high-level drills and bouting with other experienced fencers
*Full Electric equipment is required*

11am-11:45 Coordination Drills and Comprehensive Warm-up
11:45-12:15 Sabre Footwork
12:15-1:30 Sabre Drills
1:30-2pm Lunch Break (please bring your lunch)
2pm-2:30pm Sabre Tactical Drill Session
2:30pm-3:30pm Structured bouting practice
3:30-4pm Video Analysis (Coach Durkan reviews video of competitive sabre fencers in our region and shows you the patterns/habits of fencers from various coaches/clubs -- and how to beat them in 5-touch and 15-touch bouts)


About Coach Durkan:
Patrick Durkan is a 6-time USA Fencing National Champion and 6-time US National Team Member. He is a graduate of Columbia University, where he was a 4-time All American and Captain of the Columbia Fencing Team.
As a coach, he has produced Cadet and Junior World Medalists as well as numerous US Team Members, National Champions and NAC medalists.
