Date and Time: Sept. 21st, 2019 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Skill Level of Participant: Any

For those looking to become refs, this clinic will prepare the attendee for taking the test and for observation as a referee.

For those existing refs looking to meet their annual requirement of a seminar, this clinic will update them on the latest rules changes and conventions.

For parents and fencers, this clinic will give a better understanding of calls and the rules of the game.

Attendees intending to take the exam and be observed should make themselves familiar with the rules of fencing and plan on taking the exam online.

The rulebook can be found here: http://www.usfencing.org/usa-fencing-rule-book

Referee study guides and a link to the online test are here: http://www.fencingofficials.org/blog/become-a-ref/

As part of the Michigan Division Referee Development, the cost of the clinic is reimbursable by the division for Michigan Division Fencers after you receive a passing grade on the exam and get a rating of at least a 10 in at least one weapon.
