Join us for a 4 day competitive camp designed to push your level as an athlete. Including work in the technical, tactical and mental fields, the camp will address the things that will help you evaluate your process to better your results. Learn drills and mental processes from our experienced coaching staff that you can integrate into your training plan to strengthen your skills.

Dates: August 1-4, 2019

Time: 9:00am-4:00pm

Location: Blomquist Gymnasium, 617 Foster Street, Evanston, IL 60208

Cost: $495 for the week or $150 per day for non-boarders. $795 for the week for boarders.

Open to any and all ages 12 and up. Competitive experience recommended.

Plan to bring a lunch, a water bottle and a notebook.

Coaching Staff:
Ro Sobalvarro has been a member of the US National Coaching staff for over 20 years and coached the 2012 Women's Olympic Epee Team to the Bronze Medal. He is also the Head Coach at Twin Cities Fencing Club where he has developed national and international level athletes in all weapons.

Mike Pederson coached the 2008 US Women's Foil Team to the Silver Medal. He is currently part of the Canadian National Coaching Staff and has coached numerous athletes to tremendous success both domestically and internationally. He is also an owner and coach at Golden Gate Fencing Center.

Luther Clement has over 10 years of coaching experience, including 3 years as the Sabre Coach at Northwestern University and as the New York University Sabre Coach. As an athlete, he was a 3-time All-American at St. John's University and a National Team member.

Eric Momberg is Assistant Coach at Northwestern University. He has produced numerous national medals across 3 weapons. He has coached at an international level producing medals and results in saber and pentathlon.

Zach Moss is Head Coach at Northwestern University. In 5 years at Northwestern, he helped lead the Wildcats to 12 All-American Honors, 3 Conference Championships, and a #2 National Ranking.

Paul Englund has been teaching fencing for ten years, getting his start in Portland, OR. In 2015 he moved to Montana become the head coach of the Missoula Fencing Association, where he developed the small program to the point it began to produce Region 1 podium finishes and A-rated fencers. Paul is now the head coach of Wildcat Fencing Club in Evanston and volunteers as an assistant coach at Northwestern University.

Alisha Gomez-Shah is a former sabre fencer for Northwestern University, a 3 time-NCAA competitor and an All-American. She has been fencing for over 13 years. Currently, Alisha is the Operations Manager for the fencing team and assists with the Wildcat Fencing Club teaching youth foil and sabre classes.
