On the last two days of the camp we will have as a special guest Olympic Coach Amgad Khazbak from Bluegrass. Pre Registration opens on 05/01/2019. Pre Registration closes on 06/09/2019. 6 days camp Monday through Saturday Fees: Club Members $400 Non-Club Members: $550.00 One day fee $150.00 Special Guest June 14th and 16th. Coach Amgad Khazbak. Coach Khazbak has a proven and prestigious record as both a fencer and as an internationally renowned coach. He began his fencing journey in Egypt, where he went from fencing for the Egyptian national team to becoming its coach. Once moving stateside, he continued to find success on the strip and is known for training some of the finest fencers this country has to offer. Throughout his career he has helped his students achieve unprecedented success in National competitions, World Cups, and World Championships. Most recently, he was hired by the USFA to coach the women’s American Olympic foil fencing team. Under his guidance, the US team had a wonderful showing in London. In recognition of his outstanding dedication to his students and his unrivaled skill as a coach, he was named USFA’s coach of the year for 2012. Coach Isabel ALvarez is the owner and founder of Profencing and the head fencing coach. With over 40 years of experience, coach Alvarez competed for Colombia at world cups, and world championships until the qualification for the Beijing Olympics in 2008, placing among the top 50 ranked foil fencers in the world, and ranked 3rd in the Pan-American Zone.
