RTF Pre-National Sabre/Foil Camp w Jacek & Darius

Pre-Nationals Training Camp w/ Jacek Huchwajda & Darius Wei Monday June 17 - Friday June 21 Join the Research Triangle Fencing staff for a Pre-National training camp! The camp will focus on technical and tactical awareness. Our coaching staff will challenge each athlete to develop their situational awareness and tactical skills in preparation for Summer National Championships. This camp is suitable for all athletes aged 10+. Homestays may be available with a local family; please contact Darius (darius@researchtrianglefencing.com) if you need one. Cost: $400 (prorated at $90/day) Time: Mon - Fri, 10am-5pm Venue: We'll be holding the camp in our training facility in Durham. Everything from the ground up is custom designed to make an athlete-friendly space. Staff: Jacek Huchwajda - Duke University Assistant Coach. Member of the German Olympic Team (1992 & 1996). Coached at FC Tauberbischofsheim, Oregon Fencing Alliance - Jacek's students include Olympians, World Champions, and many national team members for both the USA and Germany. Darius Wei - Duke University Assistant Coach. Coached at Northwest Fencing Center, students include national champions, and NCAA All-Americans. Bring: - Athletic clothing (shorts, t-shirt, outdoor shoes) - Full fencing attire including knickers and underarm protector - Sack lunch (lunches may be available from nearby restaurants)
