Come learn how to setup, configure, and maintain your Fencing Time Server! This clinic will show you how to setup your network and computers to run large competitions with the Fencing Time Server.

Fencing Time Server Setup and Configuration Clinic Presented by Dan Berke Saturday December 15th at the December NAC in Cincinnati (room 234) The Fencing Time Server allows you to do far more than just run Fencing Time using multiple computers. From multiple remote monitors to kiosk check-in, the Fencing Time Server offers you a lot of ways to enhance your tournament. This clinic will cover how to setup, configure, and maintain your server system. We will also discuss basic computer networking concepts and how to troubleshoot problems. Topics to be covered - Basic networking concepts - Server system components - Setting up the server - Server maintenance and upgrades - Check-in options (kiosks & staffed check-in) - Remote monitors - Live scores and scoring machines - StripView displays - Troubleshooting problems We will not cover how to run competitions with Fencing Time, but a basic knowledge of the software would be helpful. This clinic will be offered at two times (with identical content) - come to the session that fits your schedule the best!
