Join us as we examine the martial arts from which modern sport fencing descends. This Longsword class will include:
⢠Footwork and distance
⢠Unarmed techniques
⢠Practical considerations of fighting with historic weapons.
Equipment will be provided. Wear comfortable athletic shoes with minimal heel rise and full-coverage, comfortable clothing.
As the student progresses through the curriculum of the longsword you will also study the use of the dagger and wrestling within the context of the sword fight.
