Gia Abashidze, foil coach at Pennsylvania State University, will conduct an intensive weeklong foil workshop. This is an incredible opportunity for Central Ohioâs foil fencers to learn from the best and gain a competitive edge for the next season.

Columbus Fencing & Fitness is proud to host an Intensive Foil Workshop by GIA ABASHIDZE! CAMP'S FOCUS: This camp is designed to help fencers prepare for the Regional and National competitions. Athletes will experience intensive immersion in fencing, honing specific techniques, strategies and tactics in numerous bouts, and engaging in mental training for success. The entire camp is conducted to ensure that fencers reach peak readiness in time for the most important tournaments of the season. Gia will work with participants to improve their fencing skills and provide constructive feedback on technique and on-strip strategies to help athletes adjust their game during fencing bouts. Each athlete will be challenged to think critically and develop approaches and methods to improve their own fencing performance and empower themselves in competition and their training afterwards. SCHEDULE: ï¿½ Time: 9 AM - 12 Noon REQUIREMENTS: ï¿½ Full set of working electrical equipment. ï¿½ Current USA Fencing Membership (non-competitive, competitive, or professional) COST: CF&F Members: $300 (must register by Wednesday, July 18) Non-CF&F Members: $375 Per day rate: $75 Space is limited - REGISTER NOW!
