Preregistration has closed. REGISTRATION is a flat $75 for all attendees.

**NOTE: This referee seminar will specifically focus on the rules of fencing for saber. You must attend both the seminar and the tactical session if you want to be observed for a saber rating at the tournament on Sunday.

Learn the fundamentals of Saber right of way refereeing, or renew your seminar requirement to referee in the United States.
Internationally rated, and Certified Referee Instructor Adam Brewer will cover the rules of fencing, and the tactical theory of right of way in with a focus on Saber at this clinic.

Guest fencers and coaches will be in attendance from clubs in the area, along with the Korean National Saber Team.

Planned Schedule:

Saturday, June 23, 7:00 AM - 2:30 : General Seminar:
Discussing rules, presence, importance, and the role of the referee for ALL 3 WEAPONS.

Saturday, June 23, 2:30 PM: Tactical Theory and Bouting:
Discussion of the tactics and theory as they apply to the rules in Foil and Saber. Foil and Saber candidates, coaches and fencers will split off and referee tactical fencing situations to demonstrate the rules. If fencing, attendees are asked to bring a full fencing kit. If attending as a coach, bring equipment required by the rules to give a lesson; you will be required to participate and demonstrate actions to fencers and referees.

Saturday, June 23, 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM: Happy Hour and Dinner.

Sunday, June 24, 10:00 AM: Sister Tournament.

Observations will occur for at the tournament on Sunday for candidates looking to obtain a referee rating who have completed the online US Fencing Referee Exam, the clinic, and are professional members of US Fencing.
