Led by our internationally experienced coaching staff, this camp will focus on the fundamentals of fencing as well as overall motor skills development and physical fitness.

Come experience the Olympic sport of fencing with Northwestern University beginner/intermediate foil camps. Led by our internationally experienced coaching staff, these camps will focus on the fundamentals of fencing as well as overall motor skills development and physical fitness. Beginners can expect to learn the basic movements and ideas of fencing and to engage in the fun and unique experience of partner sparring with a sword in a safe and controlled environment. Intermediate fencers can expect to improve their form, timing, and understanding of their fencing tools. Above all, everyone can expect to have fun and learn at the same time! June 14-17 from 10:30am-1:30pm Open to any and all ages 8-13. Held in Patten Gymnasium on Northwestern University’s Evanston Campus. Address is 2407 Sheridan Road, Evanston, IL 60208. Please bring a water bottle and snack. Wear closed toed gym shoes and comfortable athletic clothing. All other equipment will be provided for those who need it, free of charge.
