FAB Pre-season Competitive Saber Camp

Discounts for early registration and multiple registrations - scroll down for details. Sign up for weekday Fencing Camp for youths 8-14 training in saber. Competitive and pre-competitive level youth saber fencers step up their training in preparation for the 2018-2019 fencing competition season. Camp is in session from 9am-4pm from Monday, Aug. 27 through Friday, Aug. 31. Daily instruction includes fencing drills, footwork, bladework, coordination and agility training, fencing games, bouting, and a lot of fun. On Friday, campers will compete in a fencing tournament and celebrate with an ice cream party. Fencers should wear a t-shirt, long athletic pants or fencing knickers, and rubber-soled shoes or sneakers. It is a good idea to bring an extra t-shirt and a sweatshirt as we are air-conditioned. Fencers should bring their own equipment, but may borrow ours if they are still building their kit. FOR SAFETY, SHORTS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO BE WORN WHILE FENCING. 12-1pm is lunch, time to take a break to eat and watch a video. Campers need to bring their own lunch, snacks, and beverage, or else bring lunch money and we can get from the local pizza place. Discount for Early Registration: Sign Up by June 15th for $375 $425 after June 15th Discount for Multiple Registrations: $50 OFF each additional week - Register more than 1 child together or one child in more than 1 session to get the discount.
