2017 Lone Star Winter Fencing Camp

Venue: Lone Star Fencing Center 600 Data Drive, Suite 102 Plano, Texas 75075 The camp is a sabre camp open to all ages and levels. Preregistration opens on 11/22/2017 Preregistration closes on 12/25/2017. We would like to welcome Lee Hyo Kun to Lone Star Fencing Center. A former Olympic and National coach of Korea. Also, the camp will be held at our new facility with 19 strips plus a final strip. The camp will prepare elite fencers for the US Junior Olympic Championship. The camp will be modeled after Korean national team training regiments. The camp is mandatory for those who will be competing at the J.O.'s and NAC, and SYC competitions. The last day of the camp will be post camp USFA sanctioned tournament. Activities: Physical conditioning Video analysis Tactical session Drills Bouts Private lessons can scheduled during the camp What to bring: All electric fencing equipment. If you are a beginner, we will provide all equipment. What NOT to bring: Gaming devices, books, and magazine. Cell phones are only allowed during lunch hour and after the camp each day. Camp Fee $595 $495 if paid in full by 11/30/2017 $100 deposit is required to hold a spot. Maximum of 50 spots. Balance is due on the first day of the camp. 3% surcharge for credit card payments. Typical camp Schedule 10 AM - 12 noon Morning session (games/conditioningagility/fencing) 12 noon - 1 PM Lunch break (lunch will be provided on Friday) 1 PM - 5PM Afternoon session (Lessons/drills/fencing tournament) All fencers must have own equipment. If not, please order your equipment prior to the camp. On the last day of the camp, there will be an armory class over repairing bodycords and assembling sabres.
