REFEREE CLINIC with ABBAS FADEL Come and join us for an informative Referee Clinic hosted by Abbas Fadel, a Certified Referee Instructor and an experienced and highly renowned National referee. When: October 20 2017 from 5:30 PM – FINISHING. This Clinic is designed to introduce, interpret and discuss the USFA rules and their application, to fencers, coaches and parents. The seminar will prepare you for both the online written exam as well as the practical exam. Attending an official FOC-sanctioned clinic is a prerequisite for attempting the written exam. Once a passing grade of (90%) has been achieved on the written exam (both the general section and one or more weapon-specific sections) a referee receives a rating of "P" in each weapon passed. Further ratings improvements (1-10) can be obtained at a later date by being evaluated in a practical setting at tournaments Practical exam will be provided after the seminar as well as at future tournaments. All participants will have the opportunity to be observed foe a rating at Escrime D'Halloween, hosted on Sat. 10/21 at Lincoln Elementary School, 15615 Clifton Blvd Clinic hosted at Cyrano's Place, 15639 Madison Ave, Lakewood OH on Friday October the 20th 2017. COST: $75/per person paid by check or cash at the door.
