Referee Clinic with Sean Shumate

Mr.Shumate has been reffing all three weapons for over ten years on the local and national level. He has also headed referee development in the state of Kentucky for the last Six years. Sen haa refereed at the multiple NAC’s, NCAA Duals and Championships, The London Paralympics and is on arbitrage for the Rio Paralympics. Cost for the clinic and observation: $75. Date and Time:Septemebr 3rd, 2016 10 AM to 5 PM Skill Level of Participant: Any Equipment required for the Clinic: None For those looking to become refs, this clinic will prepare the attendee for taking the test and for observation as a referee. For those existing refs looking to meet their annual requirement of a seminar, this clinic will update them on the latest rules changes and conventions. For parents and fencers, this clinic will give a better understanding of calls and the rules of the game. Attendees intending to take the exam and be observed should make themselves familiar with the rules of fencing and plan on taking the exam online before being observed the following day.
