Note This is a Old AskFRED event. Registrations and results are all correct, but some other data could be missing.
The winner will be awarded an FIE foil blade wired with a German foil point. Trophies for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places.
This is NOT a USA Fencing sanctioned meet. No ratings can be earned from it.
We limit the size of our meets for safety and to control quality and the time-frame. This meet will have a maximum number of 24 fencers allowed.
This meet will be self-refereed. You will not be required to referee. Fencers that agree to referee at check-in will pay $25.00 to enter. Fencers that do not agree to referee will pay $35.00 at check-in.
Entries CLOSE ON FRIDAY June 6th AT MIDNIGHT. Registration through FRED only. No entry "at the door".
You must check-in, at the meet, before the 12:30PM deadline.
At check-in: You will pay the entry fee, show your USA Fencing competitive membership card, fill out a waiver (if not on file) and submit your mask and your glove for safety inspection.
FORMAT:
Format will be large pool(s) and Direct Elimination 15 touch matches. This is variable at our discretion.
Fencers will be seeded by their USA Fencing rating and club.
Check-in ENDS at 12:30PM. No entries after check-in time.
All entries will be required to be current USA Fencing competitive members.
We will not be taking USA Fencing memberships at the door. You must do this ahead of time, online.
Everyone fencing (practice or tournament) at MSFA is required to wear full and complete uniforms and gear according to USA Fencing requirements.
