FRED Announces the RCFC Women's Open Foil Tournament Calling all women foilists! We are reaching across all borders fornew faces. Registration closes at 1:30PM, entry fee is only$5.00, and we can find you a bed if you need one! ------------------ Important Info: ------------------- Tournament: RCFC Women's Open Foil Tournament Date(s): 03/01/2003 Location: Rain City Fencing Center Open Women's Foil --- Registration closes 1:30PM Rain City Fencing Center is proud to host what we hope will become aregular event – a training session and tournament for women foilfencers in the Pacific Northwest. All women foilists are invited toparticipate. We especially encourage fencers to the north and southof us here in Seattle to make the trip. A strong turnout would mean astrong tournament! (If you need a place to stay overnight, we canhelp. Send email to: barbara@raincityfencing.com) Important Tournament Stuff Proof of USFA membership (or equivalent) will be required of allparticipants at check-in. Please bring your current USFA membershipcard. You may join or renew your USFA membership at the door. Entry fee is only $5. The tournament will be scored electrically. We’re not checkingequipment, but it’s your responsibility to make sure all yourequipment is working. Full USFA regulation uniform is required, including plastron,knickers, and knee-length socks. No jeans or sweatpants allowed. Driving Directions to RCFC Rain City Fencing Center is located just off Highway 520 in Bellevue,WA. To get there from I-5, I-405, or anyplace west of I-405, take SR520 east, take the first exit past the I-405 interchange (124thAvenue NE), turn right at the bottom of the ramp, and turn into thefirst driveway on your right. We’re on the bottom floor of thebuilding on your right. Park anywhere. We’re looking forward to a great day of fencing!
