Metro Tacoma Fencing Club announces the BLUE STEEL ‘E’ SERIES No. 1 Sunday Mixed E & Under Foil Tournament Date: Sunday, 9/19/2004 Location: Metro Tacoma FCBlue Steel at the East Side Branch of the Boys and Girls Clubs of South Puget Sound. 614 East 64th St, Tacoma, WA 98404. Phone Contacts: 253.383.3013 for questions in advance, 253.312.9087 the day of the tournament. Registration: Doors open at 8:30am. Registration closes at 9:15am. Current (2004-2005) USFA membership or equivalent is required; you may join or renew at the door. Registration will be limited to the first 24 competitors. Pre-registration required at www.AskFred.net. Fees: Entry fee is $10.00, cash or check only. Format: Format is one round of pools followed by direct elimination. All fencers participating will be promoted to direct elimination. Uniform Requirements: Full regulation uniform, including underarm protector, fencing knickers and long socks, is required. Masks, body cords and lames will be checked. No equipment will be available for sale at the venue.
