9th Annual Rain City Open

FRED Announces the 9th Annual Rain City Open Our 9th Anniversary Tournament is next weekend! There will be open events in all weapons, plus Veterans Epee. Medals, prizes, T-shirts to be won! We're also bringing in several of your favorite referees from the Battle in Seattle to help us out. Note: Registration deadline is TODAY, Friday, May 8th, at midnight. Please pre-register on FRED (see links below) by then to avoid a $10 late registration fee. ------------------ Important Info: ------------------- Tournament: 9th Annual Rain City Open Date(s): 05/15/2009 - 05/17/2009 Location: Rain City Fencing Center Friday, May 15th: 7:00 PM -- Vet Combined Mixed Epee Saturday, May 16th: 9:00 AM -- Doors open 9:30 AM -- Senior Mixed Epee 12:00 PM -- Senior Women's Foil 2:00 PM -- Senior Mixed Saber Sunday, May 17th: 9:00 AM -- Doors open 9:30 AM -- Senior Mixed Foil 11:00 AM -- Senior Women's Saber 1:00 PM -- Senior Women's Epee All times listed are close of registration. Entry fee is $10 registration plus $20 per event. Please pre-register on FRED (see links below) by May 8th to avoid a $10 late registration fee. Full regulation uniform is required, including underarm protector, knickers, and knee-length socks. RCFC has Blue Gauntlet fencing gear available for purchase. Current (2008-2009) USFA membership or equivalent is required for all competitors. You may join the USFA or renew your membership at the tournament. Age eligibility: Senior events are for fencers born in 1995 or earlier. The Veterans event is for fencers born in 1968 or earlier.
