We are trying something for fun. Lower-ranked fencers will be given points over higher-ranked ones. See More Info for details. This tournament will not be rated. Registration 7:30 - 8 pm $10 floor fee
Registration 7:30 - 8 pm Events Scheduled: Handicapped Mixed Epee The handicaps are as follows. Bouts between fencers of the same rank will be fenced to 7. For every difference in rating, add 1 point to the total needed to win, and 2 points to the lower-ranked fencer. Equal rating: bout to 7 1 level: bout to 8, starts at 2-0 (E vs. U, D vs. E, C vs. D, etc.) 2 levels: bout to 9, starts at 4-0 (D vs. U, C vs. E, B vs. D, etc.) 3 levels: bout to 10, starts at 6-0 (A vs. D, B vs. E, C vs. U) 4 levels: bout to 11, starts at 8-0 (A vs. E, B vs. U) 5 levels: bout to 12, starts at 10-0 (A vs. U) No charge for members, $10 floor fee for non-members. There will be cookies.
