Johnson Center, South Gym on the University of New Mexico Campus
Detailed directions will be emailed along with event packet.
Format:
Format is the same as previous years. Teams will first be seeded into pools. Pools will have roughly 4 teams each. Direct elimination will follow the seeding round. "Skunk Rule" of 5 wins in the Direct Elimination phase concludes the round. USFA rules will be in effect at this tournament and directors will test equipment and issue cards accordingly. Names on the lame and knickers are not required. Same-day crossovers are NOT allowed. You can fence one event on Saturday and one event on Sunday.
Eligibility:
Fencers are eligible to compete at the WCCIFC if they are students at the school they are representing. Fencers must also be a member of the collegiate club/team. Fencers must not have previously competed in any NCAA competitions. Fencers from schools with NCAA Fencing team may compete at the WCCIFC only if they do not compete at NCAA competitions.
Registration:
Fees are $55 per team with pre-registration. Make your checks payable to "UNM Fencing Club". Pre-register on askfred and mail your checks along with the entry form to:
