2008 Washington Games

The USFA WWD presents the 2008 Washington Games July 19-20, 2008 at Rain City Fencing Center Join us for the fencing event in the Washington Games! We are proud to offer mixed events in all three weapons during this first year of the event being held in the Seattle area. The Washington Games promote health and fitness through Olympic-style sporting events offered throughout Washington. As a nonprofit, 501(c)3, organization, the Washington Games will achieve its mission and deliver the greatest impact on Washington's residents under the Powered by You health initiative. During the 2008 Washington Games, thousands of athletes will compete in traditional and non-traditional athletic competitions. Ultimately, the Washington Games will strive to expand individual sports competitions and create premier events within each category. The elite to recreational participants in Olympic, extreme and emerging sports will be welcomed into an active lifestyle. The Washington Games is a member of the National Congress of State Games (NCSG). This association involves more than 40 states and 500,000 participants annually and is sanctioned by the United States Olympic Committee. All times are close of registration. -------- Registration Information --------- Registration fee is $20 per event entered. Tournament fees can be pre-paid online on FRED when you register, or by cash or check on the day of the event. All fencers must be current competitive members of the USFA. You may join or renew your USFA membership at the door. Full USFA regulation uniform is required, including plastron, knickers, and knee-length socks. No jeans or sweatpants allowed.
