•Eligibility by Age — USFA birth year rules apply as posted on the USFA web site: Fencers must be born in 1994 or earler. If younger, Fencer MUST be on National Junior Rolling Points Standings to be eligible.
•USFA Membership — USFA rules will be enforced. All fencers must be current members of the USFA .You will be asked to show your membership card or other proof of membership to the registration committee. USFA membership forms will be available at the tournament.
•Format of Event — One round of pools, 100% promoted to Direct Elimination (15 touches). No repechage for any events. ALL EVENTS WILL BE HARD SEEDED as of March 27th. NO CHANGES WILL BE MADE TO THE SEEDING AFTER THIS DATE. Provisional seeding will be posted on the section website as entries are received. Any and all corrections should be emailed to WJenness@gmail.com prior to March 27th. Initial seeding, seeding after pools and final placements will be posted in the venue and on the section website. Fencers are responsible for verifying and signing their pool and DE sheets. Changes will not be made after fencing commences.
•Event Check In — Check In will open for each event one hour before the scheduled close of check in for that event.. Fencers must check in for each event in which they are competing.
•Equipment Requirements — Fencers must have two working weapons and body-cords. Fencers must supply their own equipment.
•Equipment Check — Prior to fencing, fencers will be required to submit their mask, lame and two body cords for inspection and testing by the event armorers. Equipment must pass the same tests conducted at national events. It is in the fencer’s best interest to check their equipment before the event. Please ask your coach or someone in your club to assist you with this. Repair or replace non-conforming equipment prior to leaving home!
•Early Weapons Check — There may be an early weapons on Friday, March 28th at the host hotel. Details to be posted on the section website.
•Host Hotels: Hotel information will be posted on the Section website (http://www.nas-usfa.org) as soon as it has been determined
•Directions — Directions to the hotel and venues are available on the web. Information at http://www.nas-usfa.org

•Confirmation of Registration — A list of registered fencers will be maintained on http://www.askFRED.net If you would like a confirmation by mail, please include a Self Addressed Stamped Envelope in your entry.
•Cancellation/Refunds — To withdraw from the event, please contact the section chair (Wayne Jenness) in writing prior to March 28th. Refunds will be issued at a rate of $30/event.
