Central Coast D & Under Fencing Tournament

All fencers rated D & under! Come join us at an event designed for you, hosted by San Luis Highlanders and Cal Poly Fencing. IMPORTANT: Please note the change in date. The event was originally annouced for March 2, 2008, but has been moved to March 16, 2008, to accomidate the CenCal Divisional Qualifiers. Events Scheduled: - Mixed Senior D and Under Epee - Mixed Senior D and Under Foil - Mixed Senior D and Under Saber Cost: - Preregistration: $12 per event - Registration at event: $15 per event Notes: - 2007-2008 Season USFA membership required. Membership forms will be available at the event. - Waivers will be required for all non-Cal Poly fencers. Fencers under 18 will need a parent/guardian present at check-in to sign the waiver. An electronic version is available if needed prior to the day of the event. - Underarm protectors will be required. - Equipment will be available for rent from the Cal Poly Fencing Team. - Fencers may cross-over in one event (that is, fencers can compete in a maximum of two weapons) More info: Walter Goodwater - (805) 234-3648 http://www.centralcoastfencing.org ------------------------------------- Directions to Venue: From 101 N/S: - Take the Grand Ave./Cal Poly exit - Follow Grand up the hill toward Cal Poly - Once on campus, you will see two large parking lots and a concrete parking structure - Park in second lot or in structure (parking is free on weekends) - Mott Gym is the large brown gym building directly across from the parking structure (Cal Poly building #42) NOTE! Our previous tournament had a high volume of pre-registrations only days prior to the event, which did not give the organizers much of a warning for the size of the event. Therefore, pre-registration will close the Wednesday prior to the tournament. With our tournaments growing as they have been, it is essential that we know how many of you to expect!
