JO Qualifiers - MN 2022/23

Junior Olympic Qualifiers! Participants may enter to qualify to attend the USFA Junior Olympics National Championship in Denver, CO, Feb 17-20 2023. https://www.usafencing.org/page/show/7325333-2023-junior-olympics-athlete-information Location is confirmed as Twin Cites Fencing Club! Please see address above. NEW: Pre-registration closes the Friday before the tournament at Midnight. Cost per event is $20 if preregistered, or $35 if registering at the door. If you autoqualify for a second event there is no additional charge. The MN Division accepts checks, or cash. Credit/debit cards are no longer accepted. This is a USFA-sanctioned tournament and competitive memberships are required - high school members must upgrade to a full competitive membership. All USFA equipment rules will be enforced. For the 2022/23 season Cadet includes birth years 2006-2009, and Junior includes 2003-2009. If an event has 3 or fewer fencers, all fencers automatically qualify for JOs. If there are 4-12 fencers, the top 3 qualify - in this case, we will fence off for third. If there are 13-16 fencers, the top 4 qualify. If there are 17-20 fencers, the top 5 qualify, and so on.
