Des Moines Dog Days Saber and Foil

Des Moines Fencing Club's first tournament in the 16-17 season! Come sweat it out during the hottest time of the year! Registration is $25 for the first event and $15 for additional events. Cash or checks, please. All events are sanctioned except for the youth foil. This means all saber events will be using the new en guard rules and 170ms scoring machines. 800N Gloves will be checked. All events will be conducted according to the Current US Fencing Rules. All equipment and behavior must meet the requirements laid down by the rules. Even in Unsanctioned Y Foil. Senior events are Div3 National Qualifiers. There will be mask inspections and punch tests for all events and glove inspections for the saber events. Full USFA uniforms are required. We will need referees, so if you can referee please e-mail the organizer. All referees will be compensated.
