Walk-ins are permitted at the triple fee rate ($90 + $75) AND are subject to a $200 surcharge per the US Fencing RYC guidelines Your registration is incomplete until payment is made via askfred. If you want to make alternate payment arrangements, you must email the organizer before September 5th 2016. Check-In Venue will open at 7:00AM on Sat, and 7:00AM on Sunday. You will need to present: Proof of USFencing membership, FIE license, or foreign federation membership. If no membership provided, fencer has to complete and pay for USFencing membership at the door Signed waiver Proof of age: Birth certificate, passport, driver license or USFencing membership card if DOB is noted on the card. All entrants' age/point eligibility will be verified prior to the tournament, and any ineligible fencers will be notified and removed from the "who's preregistered" list. Age Eligibility -CADET 2000-2003 -Y8 2008-2011 -Y10 2006-2009 -Y12 2004-2007 -Y14 2002-2005 EXCEPTION TO AGE ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA (All other qualification criteria remains): Youth 12: A fencer born after 2007 can fence in Youth 12 IF the fencer is on the National Youth 10 point standings at the time of the entry deadline for that tournament. Youth 14: A fencer born after 2005 can fence in Youth 14 IF the fencer is on the National Youth 12 point standings at the time of the entry deadline for that tournament. Cadet (through JO's): A fencer born after 2003 can fence in Cadet local and regional competitions, NAC Cadet tournaments and Junior Olympic Cadet Fencing Championships and qualifying tournaments IF the fencer is on the National Youth 14 point standings at the time of the entry deadline for that tournament. Cadet (After JO's): A fencer born after 2004 can fence in Cadet competition for the 2017 July Challenge IF the fencer is on the National Youth14 point standings at the time of the entry deadline for that tournament. Information About Qualification to Nationals ==================================== The RYC tournament serves as one qualifying path for Y10 and Y12 fencers to the Youth NAC and for Y10/12 and 14 fencers to the Summer National Championships. A percentage of regional point holders from each region will earn qualification to the Summer National Championships in Y12 and Y14. For more information on Youth Qualification paths refer to the Athlete's Handbook: http://www.usfencing.org/athletehandbook and the qualification table available under the "Qualification" tab on the RJCC resources page: http://www.usfencing.org/rjccresources. Organizers are responsible for being able to answer questions from the membership concerning Regional Points and Qualification at their tournament. Youth NAC: Y10 and Y12 fencers must participate in at least one RYC or SYC tournament prior to the regular registration deadline for the March/April Youth NAC in order to be considered eligible to compete. RYCs that take place before the Youth NAC but after the regular registration deadline will NOT be considered for meeting eligibility requirement for the Youth NAC. Y14 registration for this NAC is open and has no pre-tournament requirements. Armorer will be on-site for repairs (for fee). Name is NOT required on uniform. Medals awarded to top 8. 100% advances to DE after pool results.
