Join us for the 11th Annual Porcupine Open at Brooklyn Fencing. $40 per event pre-registered, or register at the door for $60. Pre-reg closes Fri 9/26 at 10PM.

Join us for the 11th Annual Porcupine Open at Brooklyn Fencing's NEW LOCATION at 600 Degraw Street. Our phone line won't be moved in time, so if you find you need to call us on Sunday, use 917.541.8902. $40 per event pre-registered; fencers may also register at the door for $60. Please bring cash or check; NO CREDIT CARDS accepted for entry fees. Events Scheduled (close of registration): Sunday, 9/28 Senior Men's Foil 8:30 am Senior Women's Foil 1:30 pm Preregistration CLOSES on Friday, 09/26 at 10 PM. Events are anticipated to start 30-45 minutes after close of registration. First events may start sooner. We'll do our best to have your t-shirt size in stock if you register by 9/13. Bring your USA Fencing card or be ready to register at the door (credit card # or separate check payable to USA Fencing $70; one-day membership must be completed online at usfencing.org BEFORE the competition). No credit cards accepted for tournament entry fees. Foreign fencers must bring a current membership card from their federation. National age eligibility requirements will be enforced. Fencers with junior points who do not otherwise meet age eligibility are allowed to fence; e-mail info@brooklyfencing.com to request addition to the competition. All sanctioned events require the conductive bib mask for foil. Come prepared. NO REFUNDS! If you pay online and are unable to fence, please notify us via e-mail by noon on Sat 9/27 to receive credit for a future event. Event format: one round of seeding pools, 80% promotion to DEs if more than 25 fencers. NEW LOCATION 600 Degraw Street (between 3rd & 4th Ave) - Closest train is the R at Union Street, three blocks away. UPDATED PARKING INFO: If you have trouble finding street parking (which you may not, we're just covering the bases), the closest Union Street parking lot is closed; however, there are several lots on 4th Ave south of Degraw and one on Union Street between 6th & 7th Aves (http://nycparking.spplus.com/Brooklyn-798-800-Union-Street.html#Tab_coupon-rates). You can also park at the Atlantic Center http://www.ggmcparking.com/locations/details/atlantic-center and either walk 8 blocks or take the R one stop.
