Vanderbilt's Cumberland Open 2006

Thank you for your interest in the Cumberland Open. This year we will be trying a 2-day format, with potential for expansion in later tournaments. Vanderbilt University Cumberland Open Schedule of Events Day 1 Saturday, October 28, 2006 9:00 a.m.: Novice Foil* 11:00 a.m.: Open Epee Novice Foil is for fencers with 1 year or less of experience in fencing in ANY weapon Doors open at 8:00 a.m. Day 2 Sunday, October 29, 2006 1:00 p.m.: Open Saber 2:30 p.m.: Open Foil Doors open at 12:00 p.m. **Check in and registration close 30 minutes prior to the times listed** Cost: (with pre-registration) $20 for 1st event, $5 for each additional event (without pre-registration) $25 for 1st event, $5 for each additional Location: Vanderbilt University Recreation Center in Nashville, Tennessee (see www.vanderbilt.edu/Fencing for directions) Membership requirements: - USFA membership is required and all events will be run according to USFA rules and regulations. Membership applications will be available at the tournament. - Ratings will be awarded as appropriate for each event. Awards will be given for first through third place in each event.
