Preregistration closes on 04/11/2014. Regular online registration period runs through April 11, 2014 $30 Registration plus $25 per event From April 12, 2014 through April 17, 2014 DOUBLE FEES $60 registration plus $50 per event Registration will close at midnight April 11 but will re-open on April 12 for late registrations. We are not responsible for any inability to register on askfred. Fencers not registered by April 11 will pay late fees. There will be no exceptions for any reason. After April 17, 2014, no registration will be accepted through AskFRED. Furthermore, any registrations after this date are subject to a $200 surcharge, per the US Fencing RYC guidelines. Walkins are permitted at the triple fee rate ($90 + $75) and must have pertinent paperwork. ***IF YOU HAVE ALREADY REGISTERED AND WANT TO MAKE A CHANGE OR ADD AN EVENT AFTER THE REGULAR DEADLINE, THIS CANNOT BE DONE THROUGH AskFRED. CONTACT merritt55@comcast.net TO MAKE CHANGES *** IN ORDER TO COMPETE YOU MUST CHECK-IN BEFORE THE LISTED DEADLINE WITH THE FOLLOWING: 1) a COMPETITIVE USA Fencing membership card (valid for the current competitive season); AND 2) the fencer is required to provide a fully-completed waiver form that has been signed by a parent or legal guardian; AND 3) the fencer is required to show a birth-certificate (copy acceptable) or other government-issued identification showing a birth date unless officially verified by USFA. To help us speed registration, please have all this paperwork ready at checkin. This is especially critical if the fencer does not have a parent/guardian accompanying them. No one will be allowed to fence without a signed waiver form. Athletes arriving without proof of USA Fencing membership must fill out all appropriate forms and pay for membership at registration even if already a member. Refund requests can later be made with USA Fencing as appropriate. REFUNDS - For refund of event fee(s), withdrawals must be received in writing no later than April 8, 2014. Registration fees are nonrefundable. Refunds will be processed no later than 4-6 weeks following the tournament. Event schedule times may be changed depending on entries. Equipment check will be open at 9:00 am on Friday, April 25 and 7:00 on Sat/Sun. Equipment check will test the mask, lame jacket and foil mask bib, gloves and body cords. Masks that do not pass the 12-kg punch test will be impounded or given a visible mark to signify that the mask is "not approved for use." UNIFORMS REQUIREMENTS All USA Fencing uniform requirements apply. NAMES ARE NOT REQUIRED ON THE UNIFORM. AS OF AUGUST 1, 2012, CONDUCTIVE BIBS ARE REQUIRED IN ALL FOIL EVENTS EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS AND INSPECTIONS Y10 fencers must fence with weapons NO LONGER than 32.5 inches. All USFA equipment rules will be enforced.
