NJFA Friday Night Free Fencing – Great Summer Nationals Prep! Members and friends of NJFA, Open bouting is an excellent way to sharpen your skills for the Summer Nationals or for that next tournament! As usual, there will be free, open bouting for all weapons, all ages and abilities this Friday night at NJFA starting at 6pm. Fencers can arrive anytime thereafter, but the action really heats up between 6pm and 8pm when fencers are expected to complete a minimum of nine 15-point, self-directed bouts before they leave the club! This is a great workout to start the weekend. Members and non-members are welcome. • No Fee (just sign up on AskFred) • No registration line • No equipment check • No directors • No waiting around • Just lots of fencing Sign in at the door, for insurance purposes. USFA membership is required. If not a member you will be required to purchase the minimum USFA membership ($5). You can sign up prior to attending at http://www.usfencing.org for membership. CLUB HOURS 6PM - 9:30PM OPEN BOUTING - ALL WEAPONS (FREE - No Charge) 19 ELECTRIC STRIPS AVAILABLE TO USE OPEN TO ALL AGE FENCERS SELF DIRECTED OPEN BOUTING. THIS IS AN UNSANCTIONED EVENT. Events Scheduled: Mixed Foil Mixed Saber Mixed Epee Fencers are required to wear proper fencing attire (knickers, socks, etc.). No fencer may fence in shorts or leggings. Bouts will be self directed in a round robin style.
