2006 Plains Texas Junior Olympic Qualifiers

PLAINS TEXAS DIVISION JUNIOR OLYMPICS QUALIFICATION TOURNAMENT This is the official Plains Texas Division Qualification Tournament for the USFA Junior Olympic Championships. Unless you are an automatic qualifier through national point standings, all competitors at the Junior Olympics must qualify through this tournament. DATE December 2 - 3, 2006 LOCATION The location of this tournament has been changed. It will be held at the Amarillo College Fencing Salle (Russell Hall, Room 104) on the Washington Street campus of Amarillo College. COST $10 registration fee plus $5 per event SPECIAL NOTICE All Junior Men's events will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2006 and all Cadet Men's events will be held on December 3, 2006. All Junior AND Cadet Women's events will be held on Sunday, December 3, 2006. You must be born in the years 1987 to 1993 to compete in JUNIOR competitions. You must be born in the years 1990 to 1993 to compete in CADET competitions. EVENTS SCHEDULED Saturday: 12/2/06 at 8:30 a.m. Junior (U20) Men's Foil Junior (U20) Men's Saber Junior (U20) Men's Epee After check-in, all fencers will be told the starting times of the respective Junior events, depending on the number of entries. Sunday: 12/3/06 at 8:30 a.m. Cadet (U17) Men's Foil Cadet (U17) Men's Epee Cadet (U17) Men's Saber Cadet (U17) Women's Foil Cadet (U17) Women's Epee Cadet (U17) Women's Saber Junior (U20) Women's Foil Junior (U20) Women's Epee Junior (U20) Women's Saber After check-in, all fencers will be told the starting times of the respective Cadet events, depending on the number of entries. Preregistration opens on 06/16/2006. Preregistration closes on 12/01/2006.
