MTFC "U" Can Do It Epee #2

Join us for our second unrated epee tournament of the season. We will have separate men's and women's events unless either event has fewer than 6 fencers in which case we will have a combined mixed gender tournament. ------------------ Important Info ------------------- Tournament: MTFC "U" Can Do It Epee #2 Date: 10/14/2012 Close of Registration: 11 AM Location: Metro Tacoma Fencing Club, Tacoma, WA We are physically located at 1106 South 15th Street, Tacoma, WA 98405 in the Sons of Norway building called "Normanna Hall" at the corner of 15th and Martin Luther King. Entrance is on the 15th Street side of the building. Look for the neon crossed swords sign in the window. REGISTRATION CLOSES promptly at 11 AM. Fencing will begin shortly thereafter. ENTRY FEE: $10 per event. ------------------ Tournament Rules ------------------- This is a fully sanctioned USFA event. All fencers must be current competitive members of the USFA for the 2012-2013 season. You may join or renew your USFA membership at the door. USFA one-day memberships may be used for this event. Please bring in proof of membership to speed up check-in. Full USFA regulation uniform is required including plastron (underarm protector), knickers, and knee-length socks. No jeans or sweatpants allowed. FORMAT: one round of pools followed by direct eliminations. There will be 100% promotion to direct eliminations. Separate Men's and Women's events are scheduled though if either event has fewer than 6 fencers it will be a combined gender tournament. AGE ELIGIBILITY: This tournament is open to fencers born in 1999 or earlier. Events Scheduled: Unrated Senior Women's Epee Unrated Senior Men's Epee Preregistration opens on 09/17/2012. Preregistration closes on 10/13/2012.
