Westdale Fencing Club is pleased to invite you to participate in the 2012 Spooky Youth Tournament. This "Just for Fun" youth foil and open sabre event is taking place on Saturday October 20th, 2012.

Westdale Fencing Club is pleased to invite you to participate in the 2012 Spooky Tournament. This "Just for Fun" youth foil and open sabre event is taking place on Saturday October 20th, 2012. Schedule of Events: Mixed 11 and under Foil (registration closes at 8:15) Mixed 13 and under Foil (registration closes at 10:15) Mixed 15 and under Foil (registation closes at 12:15) Mixed 18 and under Foil (registation closes at 2:15) Mixed 14 and under Foil (registration closes at 4) Mixed (all ages) Saber (registration closes at 3:30) Please note that most events are now full. To be placed on a waiting list, you need to email info@westdalefencing.com with details of the event for which you wish to be placed on the waiting list. Preregistration opens on 07/02/2012. Preregistration closes on 10/15/2012. Due to limited space, the organisers may need to restrict the number of entrants. Cost is $20 per event if pre-registered by October 15th, and $30 thereafter subject to capacity. Pre-registration is very strongly encouraged. We will be starting a waiting list for events which are full. Please contact info@westdalefencing.com for details, or to request a spot on a waiting list). Please note that if you enter multiple events, you may need to fence a few of your bouts closely together (or withdraw from one) to allow us to keep things moving smoothly. In such cases, no refunds will be offered. Age categories are based on your age ON THE DAY OF THE EVENT. Electric equipment, sous-plastrons, closed shoes and long trousers are required (track-pants are acceptable). Conductive foil bibs are not required, but are encouraged. Please note that fencers must have valid OFA memberships ($15 foundation memberships are fine) as well as current CFF licenses. USFA members are also welcome. Payment (cash or cheque) will be taken at the door. US currency will be accepted at face value.
