The 2012 SUBWAY® Washington Games
July 28-29, 2012
at Rain City Fencing Center
Are you itching to get in some fencing over the summer? If so, join us for the fencing event in the SUBWAY® Washington Games! We will be offering mixed events in all three weapons, open to all fencers born in 1998 and earlier. Everyone is welcome - you do not have to be a Washington resident to participate!
The SUBWAY® Washington Games take place each summer at venues all across Washington. This annual event promotes health and fitness through a variety of sporting events each summer. The SUBWAY® Washington Games includes sports from basketball and baseball to inline skating, mountain biking and everything in between. With 30 events this year, there is an activity for everyone to enjoy.
As the banner program of the Powered by You fitness movement, the SUBWAY® Washington Games drew over 9,200 participants and thousands more spectators in 2011.
The SUBWAY® Washington Games is a member of the National Congress of State Games, with more than 40 states and 500,000 participants.

10:00am -- Mixed Epee
Doors open at 9:30am each day. All times are close of registration.
There will be separate medals awarded to the top 3 fencers of each gender in each event.

Registration fee is $25 per event entered, paid cash at the door. NO checks or credit cards will be accepted.
All participants will receive a FREE Washington Games T-Shirt!

-------- Tournament Rules --------
This is a fully sanctioned USFA event. All fencers must be current competitive members of the USFA. You may join or renew your USFA membership at the door. USFA one-day memberships may be used for this event.
Full USFA regulation uniform is required, including plastron, knickers, and knee-length socks. No jeans or sweatpants allowed.
The new foil mask bib is NOT required at this event.
