Nellya Fencers' The Veterans Cup

Part II 6:30 PM Dinner May 28, 2006 9:00 AM Veterans 40+ Men’s and Women’s Sabre 11:00 AM Veterans 50-59 Men’s and Women’s Sabre 1:00 PM Veterans 60+ Men’s and Women’s Sabre Note: Tournament times above are tentative. The actual times depend on the number of entries and will be posted on www.nellyafencers.com one week prior to the event. Cost: $125 for the Master Class (breakfast and lunch included), $35 for the first tournament event, additional $15 for the second event, $35 for the party, per guest. Late charge of $25 will apply if the registration is postmarked after May 20, 2006. Venue: Nellya Fencers Club 1530 Carroll Drive NW Suite 104 Atlanta, Georgia 30318 Format: Qualifying Pools followed by 10-touch Direct Elimination to the Finals. There will be no fence off for 3rd place. Weapon control: All masks must be punch tested and stamped before competing. Lames, overgloves, and body cords will be tested prior to the competition. All fencers must have two weapons, two mask cords, and two body cords. Note: Plastron, sabre overglove, fencing socks, and proper fencing knickers will be required. Ladies, please wear your chest protectors. Other requirements: USFA rules will be enforced. Proof of USFA membership is required. Membership application forms will be available at the registration table. Registration: Please register by mail by sending us a check or money order with the completed registration form by May 20, 2006 to avoid late fees.
