This is an 6 weapon open event that will qualify 3 fencers per weapon to the Fencing Masters Future Stars event in NYC where they will compete for to be on the Future Stars Team at Fencing Masters: Kick off to London 2012.
Fencing Masters: Kick Off to London 2012 is a competition between the 2012 US Olympic fencing team and some of the best fencers from around the world right before they leave for the Games. The event is the largest (non-Olympic) spectator fencing tournament in modern US history, the only televised US fencing competition and a celebration of fencing's history, honor, and athleticism. It will be a night of top-caliber fencing, entertainment, dinner, drinks, special tributes, and above all, fun and excitement for the whole family.
Prizes - Medals for the top 4, Fencing Masters 2012 T-Shirts for the top 8.
4 Autographed Copies of American Fencer: Modern Lessons from an Ancient Sport by Olympian and Fencing Masters Founder Tim Morehouse will be given away at this event
Entry Fee $30 (due to the late announcement and low numbers, there will be no increase at the door) Entry includes admission to Fencing Masters: Kick Off to London 2012.
