IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT BY THE NORTHEAST DIVISION USFA:
The Northeast Division is sanctioning the fencing tournament associated with the Maine State Games being held on Saturday, June 23, 2012. USFA membership is not required, but for ratings to be given in any event, all the participants in that event must be members of the USFA (a one day membership can be bought), and must operate under USFA guidelines, which include age categories, seeding, and rules. This is not a Northeast Division tournament, but a Maine State Games tournament, and any questions and issues related to this tournament should be directed to them, and all proceeds will go to them. Insurance for this event will be through either Maine State Games, or through the Downeast School of Fencing, not the Northeast Division. John Krauss will be the official in charge.
