All fencers must have full membership in the USFA. One day memberships will NOT be accepted. You must be a member of LOUISIANA Division. You must be preregistered (prepaid) to enter qualifiers. THERE ARE NO WALK UPS!  This is a qualifier not and event. If three or less (non auto qualified) preregister for an event they will be  qualified.   Louisiana Division is a lotted a minimum of three qualifiers per event plus auto qualified. All LaDiv fencers who wish to fence in the Summer National in Anaheim, CA, must pre register. If any event needs to be fenced The club with the most pre registered fencers will host that event during their schedule club time which will be completed no later than Apr. 28, 2012. All entries must be received by the posted deadlines no later than 11:59:59 PM Central Time Division & Section Qualifying Forms: May 7, 2012 Regular Entry Fee Deadline: May 7, 2012 Triple Late Entry Fee Deadline: May 8-21, 2012 Double Triple Late Entry Fee Deadline (Online Only): May 21-28, 2012 Classification Change Report due to National Office: June 18, 2012 Withdraw Deadline: June 18, 2012   All wishing to qualify must be current full competitive members of the USFA and citizens or permanent residents of the United States. One day memberships will not be accepted at this event. Fencers may join the USFA at the door for no less than a year membership.   All fencers must have signed waivers Fencers under 18 must have a waiver signed by parents. Coach's signature is not valid and will NOT be accepted.  There are NO alternates for any competition at the USFA Summer Nationals Championship tournament; therefore qualifiers cannot pass their spots down if not attending. Classifications can be awarded at a Division/Section Summer Nationals qualifying. Cadet and Y14 events must be C1 or greater for a classification to be awarded. An athlete is permitted to fence in the qualifying competitions of the Division/Section reflected in his/her current USFA membership only IF: 1) The athlete is a U.S. citizen OR permanent resident of the United States and a current competitive member of the USFA And 2) The athlete's birth year falls in that age bracket OR 3) The athlete is on the national rolling point standings in the next younger age bracket DIVISION II CHAMPIONSHIPS Fencers must have a classification in the weapon of "C", "D", "E", or Unclassified at the time of the qualifying competition AND born no later than 1998 AND  Place in the top 25% of the 2012 Division Qualifying competition (BOD, 9/07) DIVISION III CHAMPIONSHIPS Fencers must have a classification in the weapon of "D", "E", or Unclassified at the time of the qualifying competition AND have been born no later than 1998 AND  Place in the top 25% of the total number of "D, "E" or "U" fencers competing in the 2012 Division II Qualifying competition (when Division II and Division III qualifying competition is held together) YOUTH 14 CHAMPIONSHIPS Fencers must have been born between 1997 and 2000** AND  Be on the Youth 14 point standings as of May 1, 2011 OR  Place in the top 25% of the Division Youth 14 Qualifying competition OR  By Board action, any fencer who has qualified for the Under-19 National Championships becomes an automatic qualifier for the Under-14 Championships (BOD, 10/05) VETERAN  Any current competitive member born 1970 or earlier who has competed in  2011 Section Championships OR  2011 Division qualifying competition for Division II and/or Division III Championships {only those with a "C" classification or lower (D, E, or U) may compete} OR  Any NAC During the 2011-2012 season * Fencer must state on the entry the competition by which he or she complied with qualification criteria and which Veteran Event/Age Group they are entering. * For further information, please check the complete rules for qualifiers in the electronic news sent to each USFA member. Team Events: Each Division is allotted a minimum of two teams per weapon. If only one team is fielded from any Division that team may be compiled of fencers from various clubs throughout the division. If more than one team is fielded than each team must be club specific.  Veteran Team may continue to be an "open" event. This format is not known at the present time. There are no walk in!               Important Youth clarification: All Y14 and Cadet events will be fenced gender specific.
