PLEASE NOTE: This event is at our location in HATFIELD, Bucks County, PA - NOT LAMBERTVILLE!! This event is sanctioned by the Philadelphia Division.
This event is a fundraiser to help cover expenses for the surgery and care of Hercules, a deliberately burned, 4-month-old stray. Set on fire and left to die, the puppy received severe burns on over 75 percent of his body.
Hercules is in the care of Animal Alliance of Lambertville and is receiving treatment at Crown Veterinary Specialists in Lebanon, N.J.
To aid Animal Alliance with the costs of treating Hercules, BCAF will donate a portion of each fencer’s entry fee, plus proceeds from snack and pizza sales during the July 22 Mixed Foil Open tournament at BCAF-West in Hatfield and the July 29 M/W Div II Epee tournament at BCAF-Lambertville. Private donations will also be accepted.
Donations are desperately needed to provide the lifesaving veterinary care Hercules needs today and will continue to need on his long road to recovery. Tax-deductible donations can be made calling 609-818-1952 or online through Animal Alliance’s website at http://www.animalalliancenj.org.
