Veterans and Vines is the first fencing tournament to showcase some of the best wines of Santa Barbara County and the Central Coast. This year's event includes competitions in Foil and Epee for Veteran Fencers (i.e. athletes over forty years old), with an afternoon reception following the competition. While fencing is the main item on the agenda, we want to make sure everyone enjoys their time spent in Santa Barbara. All participants will receive complimentary tastings from some of the area's premier wineries, as well as tickets for door prizes, commemorative wine glasses, and other SWAG. Proceeds will benefit the Central Coast Fencing Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
All USFA rules and regulations will be strictly enforced, and proof of USFA membership is required upon check-in.
