Escrime Sundae 2010

CCFC Invitational Inspirational Recreational Non-Denominational Inaugurational Fencing Tournament of Fun, with Entrance for a Song plus a Nominal Fee, Kazoos* Provided at the door, Come for the Saturday, Stay for the Escrime Sundae! *Subject to change depending on availability of kazoos This will be CCFC's 4th (?) Annual Escrime Sundae, where if you win, you win ice cream, if you lose, you still get ice cream. It's a pretty fair deal all around. The events and close of registration times this year are as follows: Men's and Women's Epee - 10:30am Men's and Women's Foil - 12:00am Men's and Women's Saber - 1:00pm Take note that the events all start late enough that fencers from the mainland can make it over the morning of the tournament! The event will be sanctioned, so if there are less than 6 fencers in an event, the men's and women's events will be mixed. If a mixed event still has less than 6 fencers, we'll coerce other people into joining the event. The tournament will be held at St. Andrew's Regional High School, 880 McKenzie Ave, which is the same venue as all of our previous tournaments. Please take extra care in noting that this is NOT the elementary school downtown. If you are traveling over from the mainland, the bus #70 goes straight from the ferry to about 2 blocks away from the school. Registration fees are 20$ per event, with a 10$ late fee for anyone who didn't register by midnight the night before. Unfortunately, we don't have our gym available for fencing on November 19th, so we can't do the traditional free drop-in fencing the night before the tournament.
