The 2010 South Texas Division Junior Olympic Qualifiers for the 2011 Junior Olympic Championships will be held on November 13th & 14th 2010. USFA membership is required, and all USFA rules will be enforced. Where: San Antonio Fencing Center/Salle Pouj 14034 Nacogdoches Rd San Antonio, TX 78233 Schedule & Close of Registration: Saturday, November 13th 2010: U20 Men's Epee 9:00am U17 Women's Foil 9:30am U20 Men's Foil 11:30am U17 Women's Epee 12:00pm U20 Men's Sabre 2:30pm U17 Women's Sabre 2:30pm Sunday, November 14th 2010 U17 Men's Epee 9:00am U20 Women's Foil 9:30am U17 Men's Foil 11:30am U20 Women's Epee 12:00pm U17 Men's Sabre 2:30pm U20 Women's Sabre 2:30pm Entry Fees: $20 per event with pre-registration. $30 per event "at the door." Pre-registration closes at 12:00am November November 12th Eligibility Restrictions: askFRED is enforcing gender, age, and division membership restrictions. Underage fencers eligible by NRPS standing should e-mail the organizers to be added to events where FRED rejects the pre-registration. U-17 (Cadet) Events: Birth years are 1994 through 1997 U-20 (Junior) Events: Birth years are 1991 through 1997 Notes: Masks, body and mask cords, lamé and saber manchettes/gloves will be tested. Fencers may fence in all three events on a given day, but no three- or ten-minute rest will be given in one event for a bout just fenced in a different event. Events will be fenced as one round of pools (if there are at least three fencers) with 100% promotion to DEs. If fewer than four non-auto-qualified fencers register for an individual event, the organizers reserve the option not to conduct any fencing for the event, and declare all fencers to have qualified. All participants must sign a Waiver of Liability form. People under age 18 must have a parent's signature on this form. Waiver is emailed with pre-registration confirmation.
