Weekend Madness with referee clinic & foil clinic

Preparation for Nationals, Jr. (foil and Epee) and Div III (Foil). Preparation includes a clinic for both referees (officail USFA Seminar) and Intermediate Foil. This event is at the NEW High Plains Fencing Academy on NE 19th and Spring. (Just off Grand). Come check out our new building! Fees: Events $15 each; Either Clinic $40. There is NO registration fee. just event fees. Friday activities 6:00 Building Opens for Grand Opening elebration 7:00 Registration Closes for Jr. Foil Sat 9:00 USFA Certified Referee Clinic with Amgad Badawi 8:30 Foil Clinic Sunday 8:30 Div II Mixed Foil 12:00 Jr. Mixed Epee 2:00 PM Y14 Foil The High Plains Fencing Academy (Amarillo, Texas) will have it's first event at it's new Academy on March 17-19 at our new building on NE 19th and Spring. We hope many fencers from far and wide will join us in our celebration and grand opening ceremony. We are going to call our first event at the new HPF; The Weekend Madness Event. On Friday evening at 6:00, we will start the evening off with a tour, grand opening ceremony and what-not as we show-off our new facility, At 7:00 PM we will close registration for the jr foil and begin fencing in the primary fencing room. Other activities will be going on throughout the facility all evening. On Saturday morning starting at 8:30 AM we will have an intermediate level foil clinic. We are in the process of putting together a referee clinic on Saturday from 9:00-6:30 for those wishing to become nationally certified, there will be testing and observations on Sun at the event. On Sunday we will start the day off with a DIV III mixed Foil event, the second event will start at noon-Jr. mixed Epee, and the final event-Y14 Foil will start at 2:00 PM. The weekend promises to be full of fun and entertainment as well as quality fencing when we "break-in" our new facility. Hope to see you there!
