SouthSound Bladefest

MTFC announces the 1st Annual SouthSound Bladefest - Open Mixed Epee! Pre-registration is still open for the 1st Annual SouthSound Bladefest Open Mixed Epee. Prizes to be awarded: Final Prize List 1st Prize: iPod Touch 2nd Prize: Flip HD Video Camera 3rd Prize: $50 Restaurant Certificate Photography: Photographers from FencingPhotos.com will be on hand to record the event. Photos will be available for sale on their web site after the event. Goodies: We have tournament water bottles for all. Water included at no charge! Door Prizes: We've got them, you can get them! USFA Membership required to participate; because this will be just into the 2010 USFA season, be sure to renew on time. If you have renewed but do not yet have your USFA card, please try to bring some proof of renewal (fax sheet, credit card receipt, email, etc). You can also renew at the tournament. Full uniform and Electric Epee gear per WWD Equipment requirements. Entry fee is $20.00. All fencers must have been born in 1995 or before. Location: Metro Tacoma Fencing Club We are physically located at 1106 S. 15th St., Tacoma WA 98405 (map) in the Sons of Norway building called 'Normanna Hall' at the corner of 15th and MLK. Entrance is on the 15th St side of the building. Look for the neon crossed swords sign in the window.
