Arnold Mercado Memorial + RYC 2012 (Miami Madness)

The Miami Fencing Club announces the Arnold Mercado Memorial (Miami Madness) Tournament for 2012. Co-sponsored by the University of Miami Fencing Club. This will be a Regional Youth Circuit event. All fencers must meet current USFA age requirements to compete in RYC events. Events with insufficient registration will be combined and/or eliminated by the organizers. PREREGISTER. You must register in advance with ASKFRED. We encourage you to pay in advance with FRED but you may pay at the venue. Preregistered fees $30.00 for first event, $20.00 for each subsequent event. No charge for "A" fencers. ON SITE registration fees $60.00 for first event, $40.00 for every subsequent event. All fencers must be current USFA Members. USFA Membership available at the venue. Fencers must report to the bout committee at least 30 minutes before their scheduled event(s). Full electric equipment is required including two (2) working weapons, two (2) working body cords, and appropriate lames for foil and saber. Masks will be punch tested according to USFA regulations. Non conforming masks will be confiscated and rendered visibly unusable as provided by USFA regulations. A bout committee has been constituted. All applicable USFA regulations will be strictly enforced. You MUST arrive at least thirty minutes prior to your first scheduled event for check in and armory equipment check.
