IL.Div. Summer National Qualifer Tournament

Event fee of $30 per event ,on line to AskFred or mail event fees to: Fernando Delgado, 492 Tanglewood Drive, Gurnee, IL. 60031. Make check out to USFA-IL Div. Event fee that day at the door is $40 per event. Proof of USAF membership and Green Card for permanent residents required. Any questions email Fernando Delgado at fdelga1@aol.com. This Division Qualifier is a combined event of Division II and III. All fencers rated C & Under may fence in the event and meet age requirements. Qualification to Division II Summer Nationals will awarded to the top 25% of the results. Within that qualification if the fencer is rated D & Under they will also qualify for Division III Summer Nationals. The top 25% of the remaining fencers and who are rated D & Under will qualify for Division III Summer Nationals. Events Scheduled: C & Under Women's Epee C & Under Women's Foil C & Under Women's Saber C & Under Men's Epee C & Under Men's Foil C & Under Men's Saber Preregistration opens on 03/26/2021 Preregistration closes on 05/01/2021. Events where only one fencer have registered, the fencer must pay the related fee and be physically present at the close of registration for that event. USA Fencing Membership must be “Competitive”. You will be required to complete this prior to being allowed to fence. Fencers who have pending registrations will need to pay on AskFred prior to close of registration if they wish to use a credit card. Payment at the door will require a cash/check and a $10 late fee per event. COVID-19 Covid-19 guidelines restrict our venue to 50 people. This will be monitored and enforced. Check-in will begin ½ hour prior to the close of registration for each event. Fencers/Spectators will be required to sign a waiver for Covid-19 and have their temperature taken at the door. As this is a qualifying event, we cannot estimate the number of fencers that will register at the door. Spectators will be limited to one person (parent/coach) if they are 17 or younger. There may be times that spectators may be asked to leave the venue due to our exceeding our limits with fencers and staff. Once a fencer has been eliminated from the event, they and any related spectator should leave the venue as soon as possible. We appreciate your cooperation in this matter.
