3 Weapon RFC Challenge

This event is for sabre, foil and epee fencers who are looking for competitive experience. Non-RFC fencers are always welcome! Please note that registration CLOSES at 1:30pm. The registration for the last Rfc challenge on June 20th closes at 12:30pm with an awards ceremony that follows the end of the last event to finish. FORMAT: One or two rounds of pools (depending on number of participants,) followed by direct elimination rounds - 10-touch bouts/ two 2-minute periods; fence-off for every place (depending on numbers)– A LOT OF FENCING! Points for placing in these events will be awarded as follows: 1st place = 15 points 2nd place = 14 points 3rd place = 13 points etc. (If there are fewer than 16 participants, subtract 5 points for each place.) You can earn prizes and galaxy-wide bragging rights by compiling big point totals through the season. DATES AND TIMES FOR THE 2014-2015 SEASON* Check in ends at 1:30pm and fencing begins at 2pm. Check in closes at 12:30pm for the last RFC Challenge on June 20th. Please show up before the start time to make sure that registration is complete. All dates listed are Saturdays. We will be holding a Flower City Youth Cup in October, March, and May that will replace the RFC Challenges.
