What: San Antonio Phoenix Fencers' Club - Pay It Forward #1 When: Saturday, August 2, 2014 Where: San Antonio Phoenix Fencers' Club 754 Isom Rd. San Antonio, TX 78216 Events & Close of Registration: Senior Mixed Foil - 8:00 am. Y-14 Mixed Foil - 10:00 am. Y-10 Mixed Foil - 12:00 pm. Senior Mixed Sabre - 2:00 pm. In House Beginner Tournament - 3:00 pm. Why: San Antonio Phoenix Fencers' Club believes we are very fortunate to be part of the fencing and San Antonio community. We know this is only possible because of the support of family, friends and most important fencers and their families. We also believe our success comes with a great responsibility to help others. Pay It Forward #1 is the fist of four planned tournaments throughout the 2014-15 season to offer fencers the opportunity to compete and benefit four different charities who make a difference in our community. Pay It Forward #1 benefits John's Kids, a local non-profit who provides school supplies to children in need from San Antonio's west side. Those who are reregistered without a donation of school supplies the cost is $30.00 for the first event. Walk-in registration for the first event is $25.00 with a donation of $10.00 in school supplies or $35.00 without a donation. Additional events are $15.00 for everyone. Requirements: * All Youth fencers must have a basic 2014-15 US Fencing Membership. Applications will be onsite. * All fencers competing in senior events must have a 2014-15 US Fencing Competitive Membership. Applications will be onsite. * If you renew or purchase your membership online, please bring a receipt of your payment for verification purposes. * All fencers under the age of 18 must have a waiver signed by parent or legal guardian.
