Junior Orange Bowl + RYC 2014

The Miami Fencing Club announces the Jr. Orange Bowl + RYC Tournament for 2014. This will be a Regional Youth Circuit event. All fencers must meet current USFA age requirements to compete in RYC events. Events with insufficient registration will be combined and/or eliminated by the organizers. You must pre-register. Preregistered fees $35.00 for first event, $20.00 for each subsequent event. No charge for "A" fencers in Open events. You do not need to be on a National RYC track to fence RYC events as long as you meet the age requirements. RYC Events are "open" to all qualified fencers. All fencers must be current USFA Members. USFA Membership available at the venue. Fencers must report to the bout committee at least 60 minutes before their scheduled event(s). Full electric equipment is required including two (2) working weapons, two (2) working body cords, and appropriate lames for foil and saber. Masks will be punch tested according to USFA regulations. Non conforming masks will be confiscated and rendered visibly unusable as provided by USFA regulations. Foil masks must have the electrically conductive bib and attaching cord. Underarm protectors and acceptable white fencing pants must be worn with knee socks. A bout committee has been constituted. All applicable USFA regulations will be strictly enforced. You MUST arrive at least sixty minutes prior to your first scheduled event for check in and armory equipment check. Registration closes 60 minutes before each event.
