This camp is aimed at advanced level fencers looking to prepare themselves for the National competitive level in the 2014-2015 season. The focus will be on fitness, the competitive mindset, and the tactics that are used by elite fencers to start the season successfully, and maintain that success for the entire year.
The coach for this camp will be Peter Souders. Souders is a National Championships finalist and a veteran of the senior international circuit. He is originally from Silver Spring, MD, and currently trains in Boston at the Boston Fencing Club while maintaining his ties to DC Fencers Club through coaching and secondary club affiliation.
Cost: Campers are required to pay a preregistration fee through AskFred of $375. If you require housing during the camp please call 240-601-8464 or email petesouders@verizon.net to arrange housing. Housing is an extra $100 and space is limited.
